The areas affected include... Coastal waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC out 20 nm... Waters from Surf City NC to Little River Inlet SC from 20 to 60 NM... At 1116 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a gust front, capable of producing rapidly shifting winds gusting to around 30 knots. This gust front was located along a line extending from 26 nm northwest of Figure Eight Island to near New River Inlet, moving south at 30 knots. Locations impacted include... Fort Fisher, 10 Mile Boxcars, Liberty Ship, Dallas Rock, Billy Murrell Reef, Johnny Mercer Pier, Masonboro Sea Buoy, Harris Reef, 10 Mile Rocks, Kure Beach Point, School House Reef, Sheepshead Rock, Buoy Off Carolina Beach, Topsail Boxcars, Topsail Tire Reef, Wr2, Wr4, Dredge Wreck, 5 Mile Boxcars, and Kure Beach.
