This thunderstorm was located 26 nm southeast of Frying Pan Shoals Light Tower, moving east at 10 knots.

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm passes. If caught on the open water, prepare for deteriorating conditions. Make sure you and your crew are wearing properly fitted life jackets. This storm may produce a waterspout. A Special Marine Warning may be needed.
