This thunderstorm was located 19 nm south of Sunset Mid Shelf Buoy, moving northeast at 5 knots.

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm passes. If caught on the open water, prepare for deteriorating conditions. Make sure you and your crew are wearing properly fitted life jackets. This storm may produce a waterspout. A Special Marine Warning may be needed.
