If waterspouts occur, move your boat away from the waterspout. Remember that waterspouts can develop rapidly and produce winds and seas that are dangerous for vessels and everyone onboard. Report waterspouts via social media or by calling the National Weather Service at 1-888-383-2024.

Bulletin details
The environment across the nearshore Atlantic waters of South Carolina will be suitable for waterspout formation this morning. The waterspout risk will be greatest near lines of towering clouds and in the vicinity of showers and thunderstorms. Conditions will become less favorable for waterspouts by late this morning as a sea breeze develops.
