A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Coastal waters from Altamaha Sound to Fernandina Beach FL out 20 NM... Waters from Altamaha Sound GA to Fernandina Beach FL from 20 to 60 NM... At 313 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers and a few thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These showers and thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 34 nm south of R2 Tower to 27 nm northeast of Amelia City, moving north at 15 knots.
