The areas affected include... Coastal waters from Altamaha Sound to Fernandina Beach FL out 20 NM... Waters from Altamaha Sound GA to Fernandina Beach FL from 20 to 60 NM... At 645 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near D R H Buoy to 6 nm southeast of Jekyll Island, moving east at 15 knots.
