The areas affected include... Coastal waters from Altamaha Sound to Fernandina Beach FL out 20 NM... At 656 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 11 nm west of Altamaha Sound to 23 nm west of Jekyll Island, moving southeast at 20 knots. strong thunderstorms will be near... St. Simons Island around 715 PM EDT. St Simons Island Village around 730 PM EDT. Jekyll Island around 735 PM EDT. St Simons Sound Buoy 9 around 740 PM EDT. Saint Andrews Sound around 750 PM EDT. Buoy F around 755 PM EDT. High Point around 800 PM EDT. Cumberland Island around 810 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by strong thunderstorms include High Point, Saint Andrews Sound, Buoy Kby, Buoy F, Dungeness, Saint Marys Entrance Buoy 16, St Simons Sound Buoy 9, Cumberland Island, and Buoy Cdh.
