The areas affected include... Coastal waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL out 20 NM... Waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL from 20 to 60 NM... At 723 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 56 nm south of R2 Tower to 17 nm east of Jacksonville Beach, moving southeast at 20 knots.
