A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Waters from Altamaha Sound GA to Fernandina Beach FL from 20 to 60 NM... At 1116 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located 34 nm southeast of Tug Rio Caroni, or 39 nm south of R2 Tower, moving north at 10 knots.
