At 1001 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located 33 nm south of Tug Rio Caroni, or 39 nm south of R2 Tower, moving northeast at 15 knots.
