A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Waters from Altamaha Sound GA to Fernandina Beach FL from 20 to 60 NM... Waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL from 20 to 60 NM... At 942 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located 47 nm east of Guana River State Park, or 49 nm northeast of Saint Augustine, moving north at 15 knots.
