At 610 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located 48 nm northeast of Daytona Beach Shores, or 49 nm east of Ormond-By-the-Sea, moving northeast at 30 knots.
