What is happening
The areas affected include... Lake Okeechobee... At 315 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 14 nm northeast of Buckhead Ridge to 13 nm northwest of Calusa, moving southeast at 10 knots.
