A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Atlantic Waters of Puerto Rico AND USVI from 10 NM to 19.5N... Coastal Waters OF Northwestern Puerto Rico out 10 NM... Coastal Waters of Northern Puerto Rico out 10 NM... Mona Passage Southward to 17N... At 833 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots, frequent lightning, and torrential rain. This thunderstorm was located just off the coast of Aguadilla and Isabela, moving west at 10 to 15 knots.
