A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Coastal Waters from Cape Elizabeth, ME to Merrimack River, MA out 25 NM... Waters from Cape Elizabeth ME to Merrimack River MA from 25 to 60 NM... Waters from Port Clyde ME to Cape Elizabeth ME from 25 to 60 NM... At 752 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. This thunderstorm was located 15 nm northeast of Jeffreys Ledge Buoy 44098, moving east at 40 knots. The strong thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.
