The areas affected include... Block Island Sound... Coastal Waters from Montauk NY to Marthas Vineyard extending out to 20 NM South of Block Island... Rhode Island Sound... At 345 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Watch Hill to 7 nm east of Shinnecock Bay, moving east at 25 knots. Locations impacted include... Charlestown Breachway, Block Island Sound, The Coastal Waters West Of Block Island, Point Judith Light, and Watch Hill.
