Bulletin details

The areas affected include... Coastal Waters from Montauk NY to Marthas Vineyard extending out to 20 NM South of Block Island... Narragansett Bay... Rhode Island Sound... At 634 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located 9 nm northwest of North Kingstown, moving southeast at 30 knots. Locations impacted include... Dutch Harbor Light, Narragansett Bay, Quonset Point, Melville, Sakonnet Point Light, Rhode Island Sound, Buzzards Bay Entrance Tower, Plum Beach Light, Castle Hill Light, Sachuest Point, and The Coastal Waters Between Block Island And Marthas Vineyard.
