At 251 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Moriches Bay to Montauk Point, moving east at 25 knots. strong thunderstorms will be near... Montauk Shoal, Napeague Bay, Great Peconic Bay, Shinnecock Bay, Shinnecock Inlet, Westhampton Beach, and Montauk Point around 255 AM EDT. Buoy 44017 around 355 AM EDT.
