At 500 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near South Kingstown to near Montauk Point to 8 nm north of Buoy 44017, moving east at 25 knots. strong thunderstorms will be near... Montauk Shoal and Montauk Point around 505 AM EDT.
