A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Long Island Sound West of New Haven CT / Port Jefferson NY... At 745 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 8 nm west of Execution Rocks to Eastchester Bay to Little Neck Bay to Saddle Rock, moving northeast at 35 knots.
