A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Sandy Hook NJ to Fire Island Inlet NY out 20 NM... New York Harbor... At 702 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near South Amboy to near Cliffwood Beach to 14 nm west of Belmar, moving northeast at 20 knots.
