A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Sandy Hook NJ to Montauk Point out 60 NM... Long Island South Shore Bays... At 210 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located across several areas extending from 6 nm east of Entrance to New York Harbor to 54 nm south of The Coastal Waters Southeast Of Block Island, moving northeast at 30 knots. Locations impacted include... Great South Bay, Shinnecock Bay, Buoy 44017, Buoy 44025, Westhampton Beach, Moriches Inlet, Shinnecock Inlet, Moriches Bay, Montauk Shoal, and Montauk Point.
