A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Moriches Inlet to Montauk Point NY out 60 NM... At 1048 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated an area of rainfall will potential embedded strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 9 nm southeast of Shelter Island Sound to 16 nm southwest of Buoy 44017, moving east at 20 knots.
