A special marine warning may eventually be required when this storm reaches the nearshore waters. Boaters should consider heading for shore before the storm arrives. Report severe weather to the Coast Guard or nearest law enforcement agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service.

Delaware Bay waters north of East Point NJ to Slaughter Beach DE... Delaware Bay waters south of East Point NJ to Slaughter Beach DE... At 807 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located 7 nm west of Slaughter Beach, moving east at 15 knots. Locations impacted include... Overfalls Shoal, Brown Shoal Light, Fourteen Foot Bank Light, Slaughter Beach, Cape Henlopen, Bowers Beach, Cape May Point, Miah Maull Light, Brandywine Shoal Light, and Rehoboth Beach.
