The areas affected include... Chesapeake Bay from Pooles Island to Sandy Point MD... Chesapeake Bay from Sandy Point to North Beach MD... Chester River to Queenstown MD... Eastern Bay... At 1234 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated developing thunderstorms, capable of producing wind gusts of 20 to 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Chesapeake Bay Bridge to Sandy Point State Park to Annapolis, moving east at 10 knots.
