A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Tidal Potomac from Indian Head to Cobb Island MD... Tidal Potomac from Key Bridge to Indian Head MD... At 1231 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers, capable of producing winds to around 20 to 30 knots. These showers were located along a line extending from 9 nm west of Alexandria to 12 nm northwest of Leesylvania State Park to 19 nm west of Quantico, moving southeast at 15 knots.
