A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Tidal Potomac from Indian Head to Cobb Island MD... Tidal Potomac from Key Bridge to Indian Head MD... At 615 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a front, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots, which will include an abrupt shift to northerly winds. This front was located along a line extending from near Key Bridge to 12 nm west of Alexandria to 30 nm northwest of Mason Neck State Park, moving southeast at 20 knots.
