A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Tidal Potomac from Cobb Island MD to Smith Point VA... Tidal Potomac from Indian Head to Cobb Island MD... At 246 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a gust front, capable of producing wind gusts of 20 to 30 knots. This gust front was located along a line extending from 6 nm northeast of Popes Creek to near Nanjemoy Creek to near Potomac Creek, moving southeast at 10 knots.
