Bulletin details
Marine observations depict a northerly wind surge just behind a weak cold front early this morning. Wind speeds around 15 kt with gusts to around 20 kt can be expected in the lower Chesapeake Bay. These winds will likely last through around 7 AM or so. Wave heights may also briefly increase to 2-3 ft. Those operating small craft should consider remaining in port until winds subside.
