At 735 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing wind gusts near 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located over Barnes Sound. The thunderstorm was nearly stationary. Locations that will be affected include... Barnes Sound, Jewfish Creek, and Blackwater Sound.
