The areas affected include... Hawk Channel and Straits of Florida from Ocean Reef to Craig Key out 20 nm... Florida Bay including Barnes Sound, Blackwater Sound, and Buttonwood Sound... At 325 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a strong thunderstorms, preceded by northerly wind gusts near 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 5 nm north of Crocodile Dragover to near Barnes Sound, moving south at 10 knots. Locations that will be affected include... Buttonwood Sound, Coon Key, Mosquito Bank Light, Dump Keys, French Ref, End Key, and Grecian Rocks.
