Bulletin details
Through 11 PM, pockets of stronger thunderstorms will continue to wax and wane across the nearshore waters adjacent to the Lower Keys, particularly from Twenty Eight Foot Shoal Light to Wood's Wall East Crack. This also includes portions of the Southeast Gulf waters near Smith Shoal Light. Marine Hazards associated with the ongoing activity include gusty and erratic winds near 30 knots, locally confused seas, blinding downpours, and continuous lightning strikes. Most of this activity has been nearly stationary due to colliding outflow boundaries, but may eventually drift northward at 5 to 10 knots.
