The areas affected include... Hawk Channel and Straits of Florida from west end of Seven Mile Bridge to Halfmoon Shoal out 20 nm... Gulf Waters from East Cape Sable to Chokoloskee 20 to 60 nm out and beyond 5 fathoms... Gulf of America from west end of Seven Mile Bridge to Halfmoon Shoal out to 5 fathoms... At 1045 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing wind gusts of 30 to 35 knots. This thunderstorm was located over Stock Island, moving west at 15 knots. Locations that will be affected include... Western Sambo, Vandenberg, Joe's Tug, Boca Grande, East Sambo, Northwest Channel Buoy 1, and Cottrell Key.
