At 1114 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing wind gusts near 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located near Raccoon Key, moving south at 5 knots. Locations that will be affected include... Howe Key, Coupon Bight, Raccoon Key, Newfound Harbor, Cudjoe Bay, Little Knockemdown Key, and Water Keys.
