A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Coastal waters from Freeport to Matagorda Ship Channel TX out 20 NM... Matagorda Bay... Waters from Freeport to Matagorda Ship Channel TX from 20 to 60 NM... At 1203 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated showers and thunderstorms along a moderately fast north-northeast moving outflow boundary, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Port Oconnor to 6 nm southwest of Matagorda Jetty to 7 nm north of Brazos 548 to near Brazos A85 to East Breaks 228, moving northeast at 20 knots. strong thunderstorms will be near... Matagorda Jetty, Brazos 439, and Brazos A85 around 1210 PM CDT. East Matagorda Bay around 1215 PM CDT. Palacios Bay around 1225 PM CDT. Buoy 42019, Brazos 469, and Brazos A4 around 1230 PM CDT. Turtle Bay around 1235 PM CDT. Brazos 400 around 1245 PM CDT.
