A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Atchafalaya and East Cote Blanche Bays... Coastal waters from Lower Atchafalaya River to Intracoastal City LA out 20 NM... Vermilion and West Cote Blanche Bays... Waters from Lower Atchafalaya River to Intracoastal City LA from 20 to 60 NM... At 841 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Marsh Island to near Eugene Island 129 to near Eugene Island 142, moving southwest at 15 knots. Locations impacted include...
