The areas affected include... Atchafalaya and East Cote Blanche Bays... At 928 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 19 nm northeast of West Cote Blanche Bay to 7 nm north of Lower Atchafalaya River, moving southwest at 20 knots.
