The areas affected include... Mississippi Sound... Breton Sound... Chandeleur Sound... Coastal Waters from Boothville LA to Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River out 20 nm... Coastal waters from Pascagoula Mississippi to Stake Island out 20 NM... * At 354 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These strong thunderstorms were located along a line from 21 NM southeast of Pilottown to 7 NM west of Chandeleur Sound, or along a line from 20 NM east of Southwest Pass Of the Mississippi River to 7 NM west of Chandeleur Sound, moving northwest at 10 knots. Locations impacted include... Mainly open waters of Mississippi Sound, Breton Sound, Chandeleur Sound, Coastal Waters from Boothville LA to Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River out 20 nm and Coastal waters from Pascagoula Mississippi to Stake Island out 20 NM.
