Brief, weak waterspouts are possible with this activity. Remain on alert in case warnings are issued for waterspout development. Report severe weather to the Coast Guard or nearest law enforcement agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service forecast office.

A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Chandeleur Sound... Coastal waters from Pascagoula Mississippi to Stake Island out 20 NM... Mississippi Sound... At 557 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and weak waterspouts. This cluster of thunderstorms is generally located along a line extending from near Pass Christian to 8 nm south of Petit Bois Pass, moving east at 45 knots.
