A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Coastal Waters from Port Fourchon LA to Lower Atchafalaya River LA out 20 nm... Coastal waters from Port Fourchon Louisiana to Lower Atchafalaya River LA from 20 to 60 NM... At 1114 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds of 25 to 30 knots and weak waterspouts. This cluster of thunderstorms is generally located 26 nm southwest of Louisiana Offshore Oil Port, or 33 nm south of Timbalier Island, moving southwest at 15 knots.
