Coastal Waters from Stake Island LA to Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River from 20 to 60 nm... Coastal waters from Pascagoula Mississippi to Stake Island Louisiana out 20 to 60 NM... At 1045 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located 36 nm southeast of Pilottown, moving northeast at 35 knots. Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, and dangerous lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this activity passes.
