Bulletin details
At 940 PM CDT...A strong thunderstorm was located near Fairhope Pier, or near Mouth Of Mobile River...moving south at 5 knots. Locations impacted include... Gaillard Island, Pinto Island, Dog River Bridge, East Fowl River Bridge, Fairhope Pier, Middle Bay Light, Mouth Of Mobile River, Battleship Park, and Point Clear. The primary threats from this storm are wind gusts up to 30 knots... locally higher waves...and heavy downpours. Boaters should consider seeking safe harbor until this storm has passed. Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the open water stay below deck if possible and keep away from metal objects.
