At 1209 PM CDT...Fair weather waterspouts were located near Middle Bay Light...moving east at 5 knots. Locations impacted include... East Fowl River Bridge, Alabama Port, and Middle Bay Light. The primary threats from these waterspouts are wind gusts up to 30 knots and locally higher waves. Boaters should consider seeking safe harbor until these waterspouts have passed. Weather conditions support the development of waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous waves and seas. If a waterspout is sighted...seek safe harbor immediately.
