At 913 AM CDT...Thunderstorms mostly located along a line from near Perdido Pass to 18 nm west of Oriskany Reef were moving northwest at 20 knots. These storms and others in the statement area will be capable of producing waterspouts and wind gusts up to 30 knots. Locations impacted include... Orange Beach, Central Dauphin Island, Sand Island Lighthouse, Fort Gaines, Gulf Shores Beach, Dauphin Island Bridge, Western Dauphin Island, Fort Morgan, Bon Secour Bay, and Farewell Buoy. Boaters should consider seeking safe harbor until these storms have passed. Weather conditions support the development of waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous waves and seas. If a waterspout is sighted...seek safe harbor immediately.
