At 728 AM CDT...A line of strong thunderstorms was located along a line extending from near Perdido Pass to 20 nm south of Gulf Shores Beach...moving west at 10 knots. Locations impacted include... Arnica Bay, Big Lagoon, Pensacola Beach, Pensacola Pass, Sand Island Lighthouse, Fort Pickens, Bon Secour Bay, Farewell Buoy, Perdido Pass, and Orange Beach. The primary threats from these storms are wind gusts up to 30 knots...locally higher waves...and heavy downpours. Boaters should consider seeking safe harbor until these storms have passed. Weather conditions support the development of waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous waves and seas. If a waterspout is sighted...seek safe harbor immediately.
