Bulletin details
At 654 AM CDT...A strong thunderstorm was located near Big Lagoon, or 7 nm east of Perdido Pass...moving west at 10 knots. Locations impacted include... Gulf Shores Beach, Orange Beach, Big Lagoon, and Perdido Pass. The primary threats from this storm are wind gusts up to 30 knots... locally higher waves...and heavy downpours. Boaters should consider seeking safe harbor until this storm has passed. Weather conditions support the development of waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous waves and seas. If a waterspout is sighted...seek safe harbor immediately.
