At 644 PM CDT...A line of strong thunderstorms was located along a line extending from near Escambia Bay to 8 nm southwest of Fort Walton Liberty Ship Reef...moving south at 15 knots. Locations impacted include... Mary Esther, Pensacola Beach, Pensacola Pass, Fort Pickens, East Bay, Pensacola Bay Bridge, Garcon Point Bridge, Pensacola Bay, Navarre Beach, and East Santa Rosa Sound. The primary threats from these storms are wind gusts up to 30 knots...locally higher waves...and heavy downpours. Boaters should consider seeking safe harbor until these storms have passed.
