Bulletin details
At 555 AM CDT...A line of strong thunderstorms was located along a line extending from near Pensacola Beach to near East Pass At Destin...moving west at 5 knots. Locations impacted include... Mary Esther, Fort Walton Beach, Pensacola Beach, Pensacola Pass, Shalimar, Destin, Fort Pickens, Okaloosa Pier, Pensacola Bay Bridge, and Pensacola Bay. The primary threats from these storms are wind gusts up to 30 knots...locally higher waves...and heavy downpours. Boaters should consider seeking safe harbor until these storms have passed. Weather conditions support the development of waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous waves and seas. If a waterspout is sighted...seek safe harbor immediately.
