At 406 AM CDT...A line of strong thunderstorms was located along a line extending from near West Choctawhatchee Bay to Mid Bay Bridge to near Destin...moving east at 10 knots. Locations impacted include... West Choctawhatchee Bay, East Choctawhatchee Bay, Highway 331 Bridge, and Mid Bay Bridge. The primary threats from these storms are wind gusts up to 30 knots...locally higher waves...and heavy downpours. Boaters should consider seeking safe harbor until these storms have passed. Weather conditions support the development of waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous waves and seas. If a waterspout is sighted...seek safe harbor immediately.
