At 1121 AM CDT...Fair weather waterspouts were located along a line extending from 14 nm southwest of Farewell Buoy to 24 nm south of Gulf Shores Beach...moving southeast at 10 knots. These waterspouts will remain over mainly open waters. The primary threats from these waterspouts are wind gusts up to 30 knots and locally higher waves. Boaters should consider seeking safe harbor until these waterspouts have passed. Weather conditions support the development of waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous waves and seas. If a waterspout is sighted...seek safe harbor immediately.
